Welcome Week

From large-scale events like Rock the Ice, our always-popular free skate event at the Pegula Ice Arena, to small-scale events like movie nights, Welcome Week has something for everyone! Our welcome programs are a campus-wide collaboration of events and activities designed to help new and returning students in their ongoing transition to Penn State University Park and State College. By participating in our programming, these events will help you explore campus, meet new people, and connect with campus resources.

Spring Welcome

Spring Welcome will begin with your arrival to campus prior to the start of the 2025 spring semester. Once you've settled into your housing, plan to join us for a variety of event and activities to acquaint yourself with campus, meet your new classmates, and prepare for the start of classes.

Signature Events

Some of our events have become staples during our Welcome Programs that students flock to year after year—and these are the events that you definitely don’t want to miss out on. While our team strives to coordinate a schedule of events that has a little bot of something for everyone, our Signature Events stand out as our large-scale events that work to unify the student body, raise school spirit, and make you proud to be a Nittany Lion.
